Stephen C. Bogue, DPM, ACFAS, FABPM
Dr. Bogue attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois majoring in Pre-Medicine and Biology. He then graduated Summa Cum Laude from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Bogue Completed a three year surgical residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago, IL. He was a primary teaching affiliate of the Rush Medical College of Rush University.

William F. Chubb, DPM, ACFAS, CWS
Dr. Chubb attended the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1987, with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the William M. Scholl College in Chicago, in 1991. Dr. Chubb did his first residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and then a second, two years Surgical Residency at the Thorek Hospital also in Chicago.

Steven J. Merckx, FACFAS, FACPM
Dr. Merckx is a double board certified podiatrist who practices in all aspects of medical and
surgical treatment of the foot and ankle; with a special interest in sports medicine and
biomechanics. He is an avid runner having completed numerous half and full marathons, as well
as taking advantage of trail running opportunities in our beautiful state. He enjoys helping
athletes return to their sports as quickly and safely as possible. He received a Bachelor of
Science degree from Loyola University in Chicago before obtaining his Doctorate of Podiatric
Medicine degree from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Merckx
completed a three year surgical residency program at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical
Center in Chicago before relocating to Madison in 2001.
Dr. Merckx is a two-time President of the Wisconsin Podiatric Medical Association
(WPMA), and current board member. He sits on the Health Policy and Practice Committee in
podiatry’s national society, the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) helping shape
policy affecting podiatrists nation-wide. He has served as a delegate to their House of
Delegates on numerous occasions, and has been the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee
representative for the podiatrists in the state of Wisconsin for 20 years. More recently, he has
taken on the role of the Private Insurance Advisory Committee for the WPMA advocating for
podiatrists’ rights in the state. Lastly, Dr. Merckx is a longtime member of the American
Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM)
